In the Anita Oaks Preschool, we strive to build the foundation of learning in each of our students. Our children thrive in an atmosphere that nurtures and encourages self-respect and self-discipline. We cultivate the growth of student self esteem while building social competency and cognitive skills. Our students are educated and cared for by a loving professional staff trained in early childhood education. Their goal is to maximize early learning in the context of a flexible program and natural interaction with others. Through developmentally appropriate lessons our children are introduced to language and literacy skill, reading readiness and an introduction to mathematical thinking. All staff members participate in staff development and continuing education classes. Our weekly cooking experiences expose our students to early science and math equations.
