Anita Oaks School has a rich history with its beginnings on the Anoakia estate in Arcadia. Opening its doors to students as Anoakia School in the early forties it began a tradition of excellence in education. For over 65 years the Anita Oaks School has established a wonderful reputation preparing students for lifelong learning.

Anoakia School closed its doors in June of 1990 realizing its ability to renovate became impossible after the structural damage from the earthquake in 1987. Anoakia School relocated to our current site in Duarte and opened under the new name of Anita Oaks School. With the same ideals, the school was planted in a smaller setting, but still enhanced by the beauty of the San Gabriel Mountains. The children of Anita Oaks are the true descendents of Anoakia as they hear stories of California history in the San Gabriel Valley.
